How to open red wine with a corkscrew?

For general still wines, such as dry red, dry white, rosé, etc., the steps to open the bottle are as follows:

1. Wipe the bottle clean first, and then use the knife on the corkscrew to draw a circle under the leak-proof ring (the protruding circle-shaped part of the bottle mouth) to cut off the bottle seal. Remember not to turn the bottle.

2. Wipe the mouth of the bottle with a cloth or paper towel, and then insert the corkscrew's auger tip vertically into the center of the cork (if the drill is crooked, the cork is easy to be pulled off), slowly rotate clockwise to drill into the cork plugged in.

3. Hold the bottle mouth with a bracket at one end, pull up the other end of the corkscrew, and pull out the cork steadily and gently.

4. Stop when you feel that the cork is about to be pulled out, hold the cork with your hand, shake or turn it gently, and pull out the cork in a gentlemanly manner.

For sparkling wines, such as Champagne, the procedure for opening a bottle is as follows:

1. Hold the bottom of the bottle neck with your left hand, tilt the bottle mouth outward at 15 degrees, remove the lead seal of the bottle mouth with your right hand, and slowly unscrew the wire at the lock of the wire mesh sleeve.

2. In order to prevent the cork from flying out due to air pressure, cover it with a napkin while pressing it with your hands. Supporting the bottom of the bottle with your other hand, slowly turn the cork. The wine bottle can be held a little lower, which will be more stable.

3. If you feel that the cork is about to be pushed to the mouth of the bottle, just push the head of the cork slightly to create a gap, so that the carbon dioxide in the bottle can be released out of the bottle little by little, and then quietly Pull out the cork. Don't make too much noise.
