The production process of glass beverage bottles starts with raw material pretreatment, crushing and drying bulk raw materials such as quartz sand, soda ash, limestone, and feldspar. This critical step also includes removing impurities such as iron to ensure the purity and quality of the glass. At Yantai Vetrapack, we attach great importance to the selection and preparation of raw materials because we understand the impact of raw materials on the final product.

After the raw materials are prepared, batch preparation is carried out before entering the melting stage. The precise combination of raw materials is crucial to achieve the desired properties of glass, such as transparency and strength. Once the batch is ready, it is melted at high temperatures and then formed into the shape of the bottle. The process requires precision and expertise to ensure uniformity and consistency with every bottle produced.

After the forming stage, the glass bottle undergoes heat treatment to eliminate internal stress and enhance its overall strength. This last step is crucial to ensure the bottle is resilient enough to withstand the rigors of shipping and storage, ultimately reaching our customers in pristine condition.
